IN THIS LESSON,
In this lesson, you will look at where you are right now on your self-love journey. You’ll reflect on your self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-compassion, and also think about where you want to go next. To help with this, you’ll answer some questions designed to help you learn more about yourself. Try to answer as honestly as you can, since this will help you move forward on your self-love journey.
*Please have a notebook and pen available. It is recommended that you maintain this journal throughout the workshop. The following definitions are important for your understanding:Self-love: Regard for one’s well-being and happiness.Self-esteem: Confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect.Limiting beliefs: negative thoughts or ideas you tell yourself that stop you from reaching your potential. These beliefs often come from past experiences, fears, or self-doubt, and they can keep you from going after your goals, trying new things, or enjoying new opportunities.LET’S BEGIN
What limiting beliefs and doubts do you have about yourself?
Where do you think these doubts came from? (What caused them?) This could be childhood experiences, relationships, etc.
On a scale of 1-10, how much do you feel you love yourself (With 1 being the least and 10 being the most)?
What would be an ideal number for you on that scale?
What is preventing you from reaching this ideal number?
In your journal, I want you to turn to a clean sheet of paper, and draw a line down the middle. On one side of the paper, I want you to list the things you like about yourself, and on the other side, I want you to list the things you dislike about yourself.
