IN THIS LESSON,
You will identify your current stage on the self-love journey—such as beginning self-awareness, practicing self-acceptance, or embracing self-compassion—and where you would like to be. You will do this by answering some questions. Be as honest as possible with yourself, as this will help you progress towards your desired outcome.
*Please have a notebook and pen available. It is recommended that you maintain this journal throughout the workshop. The following definitions are important for your understanding:Self-love: Regard for one’s well-being and happiness.Self-esteem: Confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect.Limiting beliefs: negative thoughts or ideas you tell yourself that stop you from reaching your potential. These beliefs often come from past experiences, fears, or self-doubt, and they can keep you from going after your goals, trying new things, or enjoying new opportunities.LET’S BEGIN
On a scale of 1-10 how much do you love yourself (With 1 being the least and 10 being the most)?
What would be an ideal number for you on that scale?
What is preventing you from reaching this ideal number?
What limiting beliefs and doubts do you have about yourself?
Where do you think these doubts came from? (What caused them?) This could be childhood experiences, relationships, etc.
